Works Great

Extremely bright! I bought two and hung from a metal overhang. Great product no complaints

Very bright!

This shop light hooks up to my other light perfectly, the cord length is decent esp if your hooking up more than one to it. The light is very bright and works great in my garage. A bit on the pricier side but overall great build quality. I would buy again.

Well Made

This is a well-made, heavy-duty work light. Much larger than I anticipated. It has a tough exterior casing that will certainly hold up to the abuse of construction work. It has a hook to hang it from. I hung it on one side of my garage, which wasn't well lit, and it made a huge difference. The cord is long, and they can be daisy-chained if you have more than one. I was able to plug it into a different style of work light I already had on the other side of my garage. So now, when I pull the cord on my other work light, both lights come on and the whole garage is well lit. I'm very happy with this light.

Might or might not be waterproof

This is not a small light. It is well built and has a guard over the lens. It gets warm, but not hot in my opinion. Maybe if it was on for hours it might get hot to the touch. That leads me to the issue with the plug. It says to remove the rubber plug from the housing. I am assuming it allows heat to escape. If you remove the plug, you no longer have a waterproof housing. There are no descriptions as to why that plug needs removed. So I am guessing it is for heat to escape. The hole is big enough to fit your finger in. So if you are using it outside and it starts to rain, I would assume it would short out or pop a fuse.It is not as heavy as you would expect from something this size. It has a hook that screws into the top. It also has a plug end built in so you can attach other lights to it. That would be really helpful if you were limited on drop cords. Connecting lights together would save on having cords laying all over the ground. This 100w is plenty bright to use just one in a single room. I can only image how bright it would be if 5 were hooked up together. 5 is the maximum number of lights to hook together so you do not exceed the 500 watt rating.
