I've used several of these "deformable" garage lights. Deform is probably the wrong word to use for them as it's just describing how each light "leg" can be bent upwards or downwards to direct the light where you want it. For a garage or high bay, this is brilliant. The Nuoguan one here has really nice metal "legs" that are much higher quality than the plastic ones I've purchased previously.This is a fantastic light if you’re stuck with a garage that the builders put a token single bulb socket in—this will completely transform the space and it throws a LOT of light. Construction is solid, well packaged and instructions are very straightforward. Light spectrum is clean, bright white rather than a warm hue but not a harsh blue like cheap budget LED headlights. The only thing to know about this light is that there is a 1-2 second delay from when you hit the switch to when the LEDs actually illuminate. I thought I had done something wrong at first andflicked the light switch several times before I realized it was just delayed. This is a minor issue but there’s always something people want to gripe about. Once you’re used to it, it really doesn’t affect the utility of the light and I love the difference this light has made in my garage!

Multiple models and makes of this kind of light are now available. It's a genius invention: a super-bright LED set of lights that simply screw into existing light sockets! I first ordered some for my garage and it made a world of difference. I'm using in these in our partially finished basement to light our kids' play area. This set is a little bulkier than my garage lights but it also adds a ring of lights aimed straight at the ground. Recommended!

I got this light for a basement workshop area; there was already a single bulb fixture in place, and I thought this would be a good screw-in solution. It works well in that application as it does not come down too low, can be aimed as needed (I cover the workbench with two wings and straight down with the third) I like a lot of light and at 9,600 lumens it is comparable to 12 60W equivalent bulbs.The lamp itself seems to be very solidly made and I like that I can adjust the three light panels easily, yet they stay where I put them. I was a little concerned about the weight of the unit, but it seems fine and it’s high up enough that it won’t get hit.A great time saver versus replacing the fixture, and I have plenty of light now. Recommended!
