LED Work Light

This is a well made light. It's extremely bright. Ideal to use for work areas.

Bright, does not get too hot, no switch, don't like the hook.

This is a great looking light that has a lot of useful features, but is also missing some common sense ones. There's no power switch, so it has to be attached to a switched outlet , power strip, etc. or unplugged to turn off. But there's a power cord that's almost 10 feet long. It's has to sit on a surface or hung from the handle/hook - there's no way to mount it on a stand and that would be so handy. The handle/hook is aluminum and light duty. I had it hanging from a hook and stepped on the cord - the handle bent to far it fell off the hook. I was able to catch it, so no damage, but I don't trust the handle/hook. I'm going to replace it with a wire look. Just picking the light up by the handle you can see the handle bend. The cage is not stainless steel - it's coated steel, and the feet are not silicone - they are plastic and nowhere close to non-skid.The light is bright and even and never gets too hot. It would be great on top of a ladder to illuminate a small room. It lights up our 2 car garage well - not super bright, but enough to work by.According to my meter, it draws .95 amps. A battery pack can run this for several hours, so it would also be a great camping light or for work in remote areas.
