So bright!

I purchased these retro kits to replace the guts in 2 shoebox style parking lot fixtures. The fixtures originally had 400 watt metal halide bulbs that I switched out for corncob style bulbs previously. Big mistake for this type of fixture,but these kits seem to be the most efficient way to go. I can’t comment on longevity yet but they are far brighter than you will get with any other replacement while keeping the original fixture in place. You can’t look directly at the light when powered,you just can’t it’s that bright.

I plan to use this for a workshop space. It's uses are not limited to just parking lot lights. The power supply is high quality and the heat sink works well for heat dissipation. Very bright, even at the 120W level!Happy with my purchase.
